The company
Every year, tens of millions of Indian students choose a stream, a course and a college — decisions that decide the next forty years — with advice drawn from a neighbour, a cousin, or an agent paid by the college. We think that is the largest unsolved problem in Indian education, and the least glamorous. So we are working on it. We build two products: Owtset, for career guidance, and Anzwr, for books that teach.
The whole journey, not one meeting
Guidance in India is a single conversation in Class 12. Ours begins in Class 9 and stays with the student through stream choice, exams, shortlists, applications and the first year of university.
Built by people who did the work
One founder has taught, written and mentored in Indian education for twenty-five years. The other has spent fourteen building data and AI platforms for large enterprises. Nothing here is theoretical.

Owtset is a web and mobile platform that helps a student answer the questions Indian families have always answered badly: which stream, which entrance exam, which universities — at home or abroad — and how to get in. It is delivered through schools and colleges as their own branded portal, and directly to any student who arrives on their own.

Anzwr turns an organisation's own book or PDF into its own branded learning app. Learners read the book, practise, and ask an AI tutor that answers from that book — by typing or out loud, in their own language. The brothers
Two brothers, two continents, one problem we both grew up inside. One of us stayed in Indian education and spent a career in it. The other left for engineering and spent a career building the systems large companies run on. Indo Brothers is where those two careers meet.
Amit Mohan Agarwal

Twenty-five years as an educator, author and mentor in Indian education. Amit wrote the Skills in Mathematics series for JEE Main & Advanced, published by Arihant — books a generation of engineering aspirants have studied from — and has spent his career inside the schools, coaching institutes and publishing houses that shape how India prepares its students. He leads Owtset's content, its work with schools, and the company's strategy in India.
Anant Sharma
Co-founder · Product & Technology · Calgary, Canada
Fourteen years building enterprise data platforms and AI systems, currently a Senior Solution Engineer for Data & AI at Snowflake. Anant has led multi-petabyte cloud migrations — including a 2.5 PB programme he presented at Snowflake Summit 2024 — and holds AWS Solutions Architect and SnowPro certifications. He builds Owtset: the product, the AI behind its guidance, and the infrastructure it runs on.
